The injury bug has been significantly impacting Georgia all season long. They however are fresh out of their bye week so the hope was that they would be as healthy as they've been all season when they take on Florida. That unfortunately did not occur.
A few of Georgia's injured players have taken steps in the right direction throughout the bye week. Wide receiver Isiah Canion is included on that list as he was questionable to play against Florida all week, but a few hours before kickoff a new report surfaced indicating that he will most likely not play against the Gators.
Georgia wide receiver Isiah Canion is not expected to play Saturday against Florida, sources tell @Clowfb and me for @On3.

Georgia WR Isiah Canion ruled out vs Florida
It’s never a good thing to have anyone be injured, but Canion’s injury shouldn’t impact Georgia’s offense too much. He is the only notable wide receiver out against Florida for this game, and they thankfully have plenty of depth to make up for his loss.
This includes Talyn Talor who is leading Georgia in receptions this season and Craig Dandridge who is leading the team in receiving yards. Sacovie White-Helton is also having a good year and tight ends London Humphreys and Lawson Luckie have been reliable as well.
Canion has only played in two games this season, so Georgia has already learned how to play without him. That doesn't mean his loss isn't impactful, but they are prepared to play without him.
Injury updates on Chauncey Bowens, KJ Bolden
Running back Chauncey Bowens and safety KJ Bolden were both questionable to play heading into this weekend’s game too. Unfortunately for Bowens he has been ruled out too for this game as well.
Similarly to Canion though this isn’t a detrimental loss. The Bulldogs have Nate Frazier back for his second game after he was injured, so he should get a lot of run against the Gators. Georgia also has Dwight Phillips who is having an impressive season so far this year too.
Georgia however did get good news when it comes to Bolden. He only missed one game against Auburn two weeks ago, but it may not have been a coincidence that this was the game Georgia’s defense struggled the most this year. He is expected to play though which is exactly what UGA’s defense needed.
It does sound like Bowens and Canion are close to making a return, so hopefully they can be ready in time to play Ole Miss next week.
