The outcome of Georgia's season this year firmly rests on Gunner Stockton's shoulders. Yes it will take Georgia's entire team to win a championship this year, but the vast consensus is that Stockton will have the biggest say in how this season goes for Georgia.
Will he be able to take another step in his development to take his game to another level? Or will he be the same player that he was last year that wasn't good enough to win a National Championship?
Georgia fans will have to wait until the season begins for that question to be answered, but a rare video from an offseason workout was posted on social media which has Georgia fans believing he will take them back to the top of the college football world this season.

Gunner Stockton's workout video brings Georgia fans new hope
Stockton is the voice of this Georgia football team. He may not be the loudest person in the locker room, but he is the guy that everyone looks to as a leader the most.
Stockton is at his best when he leads by example. Whether it be working out hard in the offseason or running through a defender during a rivalry game in the fall, Stockton knows what his team needs from him at any given moment.
This offseason all his teammates need to see is that he is working hard on his craft. That is exactly what this video shows, but it also shows him improving both his footwork in the pocket and his throwing mechanics. These are the two things that really held him back last year, so it's great to see him focusing on these areas this offseason.
Fans won't know if this hard work will mean anything until the season begins, but it is clear that the potential is there for him to be a true Heisman Trophy contender.
Gunner Stockton could be the next Stetson Bennett
Every Georgia quarterback for the rest of time will be compared to Stetson Bennett. That may not be totally fair, but when a QB brings two national titles to a program it's hard for every other quarterback to not be compared to them.
Stockton however finds himself in a similar position as Bennett once was and still is with the LA Rams. No one outside of Athens believes in Stockton just like no one believed in Bennett. Bennett was originally written off as the reason Georgia couldn't win a National Championship, and those same tones exist with Stockton today.
But what did Bennett do? Win Georgia two National Championships. And what will Stockton do? That remains to be seen.
This season is Stockton's last chance to prove what kind of player he can be. This is his last shot to bring another national title to Georgia and etch his name right next to Bennett's in the history books.
Sure nobody outside of Georgia believes in him, but that will make it that much sweeter if he does bring a championship to Georgia.
