Nate Frazier’s status remains uncertain heading into Georgia’s Week 4 showdown against Oklahoma. Frazier has been questionable to play since the first injury report came out earlier this week, and heading into Saturday he is still questionable to play on Friday’s final injury report.

During the second half of Georgia’s win over Arkansas Frazier was seen limping off the field not once but twice. After spending a couple minutes in the injury tent he was spotted heading back to the locker room. Frazier did not return to the game, but Kirby Smart gave an encouraging update later that night.
Nate Frazier’s status remains uncertain despite what Kirby Smart has said
After the Arkansas game Kirby Smart said that Frazier likely could've returned if they needed him. Georgia obviously didn't need him since the game was already in hand, but this update felt like confirmation that Frazier would be fine going forward.
Fast forward to Monday and during Smart's weekly press conference he said that he expected Frazier to be good to go by Saturday. But then the first injury report came out Wednesday and he was tabbed questionable to play. Then on Thursday the next edition of the injury report didn't change that. Finally on Friday the final injury report still had him questionable to play.
It really wasn't that surprising to see him questionable on the first injury report, but every day he has stayed put has increased the level of concern for his health. There should still be a lot of hope that he will play based on what Smart said on Monday and after the Arkansas game, but as of now he still isn't 100 percent.
Potential impact if Nate Frazier is ruled out vs Oklahoma
Losing Frazier for a game isn't the worst case scenario for Georgia, but it would not be ideal. Georgia's running back room has the depth behind him to be able to sustain losing him for a game or two. Chauncey Bowens is one of the best backup running backs in the SEC who is talented enough to be a starter in his own right. Bo Walker and Dwight Phillips both look ready for significantly more touches as well.
Even if Georgia could survive without Frazier it is still better to have him. He is the Bulldogs' leading rusher this season as he has 202 yards and five touchdowns on just 24 carries. He arguably is one of the best running backs in the SEC if not the country, so Georgia's offense will suffer a little without him even with the depth they have behind him.
Oklahoma's defensive front might be the toughest group Georgia faces all season. Knowing that it would be nice if Frazier is healthy so Georgia can throw as many different bodies at the Oklahoma defense as they can.
Georgia fans will know in a few hours if Frazier will play or not. This is a game though that they will be expected to win with or without him, but it goes without saying that it will be easier to win with him in the lineup.
