There are two injury statuses Georgia football fans have to keep a close eye on as kickoff with Ole Miss approaches. The first status to watch closely is running back Trevor Etienne, whose status was originally uncertain after picking up a rib injury in the first half against Florida. And the second is offensive lineman Micah Morris.

Morris has been the starter at right guard for Georgia in their last five games. He stepped up to fill that role after Tate Ratledge went down with an ankle injury during the Kentucky game.

Morris didn't appear to suffer an injury against Florida last weekend, but his name was a shocking addition to the injury report released on Wednesday.

So what is the status for Morris ahead of Georgia's game against Ole Miss?

Will Micah Morris play against Ole Miss today?

According to Georgia's latest injury report, Morris is still listed as "questionable" for today's contest against the Rebels.

Morris is someone that Georgia could really use today against the Rebels. As mentioned, he has been the starter at guard for the Bulldogs' last five games, and he has really grown in that role since Ratledge has been injured.

Speaking of Ratledge, he is back to full health and not listed on Georgia's injury report in any capacity. But Kirby Smart did share earlier this week that Ratledge is still dealing with some soreness after his first game back last weekend.

So if Morris is unable to play today, Georgia will be able to call on Ratledge to step up in his place. But the best outcome clearly is having both players available. Having that depth is critical at guard, espceially considering both players are a little banged up.

Stay tuned for Georgia's final injury report that is released 90 minutes before kickoff as that is when Morris will officially be ruled out or available for today's game.
