Five-star Georgia football quarterback commit Jared Curtis sent shockwaves through Athens on Thursday when word came out that he was taking a visit to Vanderbilt. Curtis hadn't shown an ounce of interest in any other program since committing to Georgia in May, but that appeared to change on Thursday.

Georgia fans were panicking all day because losing Curtis to any program, let alone Vanderbilt, would be the worst thing that could happen. Later on Thursday however Curtis's agent Peter Webb calmed some nerves by explaining that Georgia has nothing to worry about. But as long as this visit is occurring there will always be a reason to be nervous.

But there was a minor detail that Webb shared that should help Georgia be more confident that Curtis isn't going anywhere and will remain in their recruiting class.

“But he is pumped to be a Dawg and thrilled to have a chance to play for such an incredible program and staff," Webb shared via dawgnation.com. "Jared is very fortunate to be thought of so highly from Coach [Kirby] Smart and [offensive coordinator Mike] Bobo and he is so excited to get to Athens as an early enrollee.”

Jared Curtis is already planning his arrival to Georgia

Curtis's agent said a lot of things in the above quote that should make Georgia fans feel less nervous. He said how Curtis is "pumped" to be a Bulldogs and how much respect he has for Kirby Smart and Mike Bobo. But it was the last thing Webb said about how Curtis is planning on being an early enrollee that should stand out the most.

This detail might seem minor, but it shows that Curtis is already making arrangements for when he is going to arrive in Athens. He is planning to be an early enrollee, meaning he will get to Georgia and begin his career in January. So why would he be planning this if he wasn't 100 percent locked in with Georgia?

The next few days will still be nerve-wracking knowing Curtis is still visiting Vanderbilt, but Curtis's agent has shared a lot of information about this recruitment and at the end of the day all Georgia can do is trust that there is nothing to worry about.
