This weekend five-star Georgia quarterback commit Jayden Wade will visit Michigan. This marks a big turning point in his recruitment because up to this point he hasn't taken other visits and has remained loyal to Georgia, but he is heading to Michigan this weekend to watch them play Indiana.

Georgia fans became rightfully nervous when this news broke, but Wade may have sent a subtle message to UGA showing he is still all in on his commitment to Georgia. One Georgia fan took to social media to articulate that he still believes Wade will end up a Bulldog even though this visit to Michigan is occurring, and Wade liked the post.

This may not seem like a lot, but it may be his sign that he intends on sticking with UGA no matter what.

"Georgia fans have been conditioned to expect the worst when a 5 QB visits elsewhere. I get it. We’ve got scars. But not every recruit is the same, and he deserves to write his own story. Until he gives me a reason not to, I’m riding with Jayden Wade."

Georgia faces their biggest test this weekend in keeping Jayden Wade

Wade has shown a little interest in Michigan throughout the last year of his recruitment. He has always remained loyal to Georgia, but Michigan is one of the few schools who has continued popping up in his recruitment since he committing to UGA last year.

The fact that a visit is on the books now is why this is so concerning all of a sudden. Before this visit it seemed like Michigan had immense interest in him and Wade wasn't fully reciprocating that interest, but now that isn't the case anymore.

This message on social media though could be his sign to Georgia that there is an extremely low chance that anyone will be able to flip him. Based on Georgia's recent history with elite quarterback recruits though fans know that anything is still possible.

Michigan doesn't seem like a good fit for Jayden Wade

Michigan on paper seems like one of the few programs who could realistically flip Wade. They are one of the best programs of all time and just flipped fellow No. 1 quarterback Bryce Underwood from LSU two years ago with a massive NIL offer. Underwood however is the reason Michigan doesn't make sense for Wade.

It's a bit ironic that Wade is visiting Michigan this weekend because Saturday marks the first game that Underwood is being benched. Michigan has done so poorly with his development and have failed to help him improve that they've finally decided to go a different direction at QB. If they can't develop a similar player out of high school like Underwood it doesn't make sense for Wade to trust them with his development.

This subtle message from Wade makes it seem like Georgia has nothing to worry about, but anyone who follows recruiting knows there's always a chance a player can decommit at any point. Only time will tell with Wade, but Saturday marks Georgia's biggest hurdle in his recruitment even if there are a lot of reasons why he shouldn't flip to Michigan.
