Up next for Georgia is one of the biggest games of every season as they hit the road to take on Auburn. The Tigers always present a huge challenge for Georgia because of all the emotion behind this game, but the past few years thankfully have all gone UGA’s way.

But just because Georgia has won the last eight meetings in this rivalry does not mean they are guaranteed to keep winning. In fact, the Bulldogs opened as just 4.5 point favorites over Auburn.

There are a lot of advantages in Auburn’s favor entering this game. This includes the fact that this will be a night game in front of a sold out and extremely loud Auburn crowd, but Kirby Smart doesn’t sound too nervous about that. When he was asked on Saturday if he is fearful of playing Auburn at night next weekend, Smart’s response indicates that he isn’t worried about anything in particular as he just wants to focus on his team getting better.

"Again, worry about everything, but the priority list is our team more than everybody else," Smart shared via 247sports.com.

Kirby Smart isn’t worried about Auburn

This may seem like a typical response from Smart, but it’s the correct way for him to look at things. He admitted that he is worried about everything when it comes to facing Auburn, but he isn’t going to let one thing bother him too much. This includes the time the game will be played which will have an impact on how this game is played.

But Smart knows at the end of the day that he needs to focus only on the things he can control. And he is unable to control anything Auburn is going to do. All he can do is prepare his team as best as he can and get them ready to go to war against an Auburn team that is ready to end a decade of losing.
