Georgia earned yet another big commitment Friday night as four-star corner Jerry Outhouse announced his commitment to UGA. This came after a stressful few days that led many to believe he was going to commit elsewhere, but he ultimately chose to pick the Bulldogs.

Social media errupted as fans exploded with excitement following his announcement. And that includes Kirby Smart who couldn't hold back his excitement after Outhouse's commitment became official.

Smart will be very excited when any recruit commits to Georgia, but Outhouse doing so is extra special. Sure he is a top 200 player in the country, but the biggest reason why Smart is so excited is because of the scare Outhouse gave everyone earlier in the week.

At the beginning of the week Outhouse was predicted to commit to Georgia by multiple Rivals insiders. This made everyone at Georgia extremely excited because of how great of a player he is. Outhouse however had another plan in mind.

He took to social media the very next day and publicly laughed at these predictions. So Georgia fans went from extreme happiness to feeling very anxious because it looked like Georgia wasn’t going to win his recruitment after all.

But it turns out that Outhouse was just messing with everyone in an attempt to keep some excitement surrounding his recruitment. That plan worked to perfection and Georgia fans once again were very excited when he officially committed to Georgia.

Outhouse is the sixth player to commit to Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class which is now ranked No. 9 in the country. They still have a lot of work to do, but for now the Bulldogs once again are putting together one of the best recruiting classes in the country.
