There are a lot of reasons why Georgia football was able to get their big win over Tennessee this past weekend. Whether it be the stellar play from Carson Beck or the defense shutting the Vols out in the second half, there is so much praise to go around after this massive win.

The Georgia fanbase also deserves some credit as well because they created one of the most electric environments Sanford Stadium has ever seen.

Kirby Smart recognized this and gave the UGA fans their flowers during his postgame press conference.

"Yeah, I'll start with obviously the fans like I do every single time," Smart shared via 247sports.com. "I thought that the energy was electric. It helped us and inspired our kids and players. I thought it affected them. And once again, a team that's on the road and played in that kind of night environment, it's really hard. It's really tough to play in that and I thought it impacted them."

Kirby Smart praises the fans... and pokes fun at them as well

Heading into this game, Georgia's fans did everything in their power to make it a Blackout. And they succeeded as nearly every fan in the stands came wearing black for this game.

However, the fanbase also wanted the team to wear their black jerseys as well, which is something that unfortunately did not end up happening. Smart clearly heard the fanbses desire for them to wear these jerseys as he poked fun at the fanbase during his press conference about choosing to not wear them.

The last opportunity for Georgia to wear these will be in their Friday night regular season finale against Georgia Tech. There is a lot of hope that Georgia will pull them out for this game, but UGA fans will have to wait until next week to see if Georgia does.

But all joking aside, Georgia's fans were better than they have ever been before against Tennessee. They made things extremely difficult on Tennessee all night and even helped force some miscues from the Vols as well. And what a time for Georgia's fanbase to create an atmosphere like that, because Smart and his staff had so many elite recruits visiting campus during this game.

There are plenty of reasons why Georgia won this game and now have a 29-game home winning streak. Georgia's passionate fanbase is clearly one of those reasons, and they put that on full display Saturday night against the Vols.
