It's no secret that Nick Saban is Kirby Smart's biggest rival. Their relationship looks much different now that Saban is retired, but after only being able to beat him once Smart has to live with the fact that he was never able to truly conquer his former boss.

Even if Saban will always have that claim over him, Smart won't ever back down. He is too competitive to let Saban win in anything even in retirement, and that apparently includes on the golf course.

Kirby Smart calls out Nick Saban during offseason charity golf event

Earlier this week Smart and few other college football coaches played in a charity golf outing. Smart attends this event most years and always seems to draw a big crowd as fans want to see one of the best coaches in the country struggle in a different sport.

Whenever you get a bunch of college coaches together the competitive juices are going to be flowing, and that was no different this year. Thankfully Smart appears to be one of the better golfers, so he has a lot of bragging rights he can hold over these coaches. This includes Saban who he trolled with Paul Finebaum while at this event.

In case anyone was curious, the below video shows a few of the SEC coaches and what their swings looks like. Saban is first to go followed by Smart, and it's quite clear who the better golfer is.

Saban will always have the upper hand over Smart. His 5-1 record against Smart speaks for itself and his dominant run as Alabama's head coach will be difficult to match, but Smart will surely do whatever it takes to match the success Saban found with the Tide.

But he still made sure to crack a joke at his former boss's expense which should delight Georgia fans across the country.
