Georgia just made a big splash on the recruiting trail when they landed five-star tight end Jaxon Dollar . But what's better than one tight end commitment? Two, and they have a chance to do just that in the coming days.

Four-star tight end Brock Williams is ready to commit as he shared that he will announce where he will play college football on May 15. He also announced that Georgia, Texas and Ohio State are his finalists, but there is a clear team leading the charge one week out from his commitment.

Unfortunately for Kirby Smart and Georgia that team is not them.

4-star TE Brock Williams is ready to break Georgia's heart

Williams has been someone that Georgia has recruited very hard. In fact, there was a time not long ago that Georgia thought they were the leader in his recruitment. That however is no longer the case as On3 has Texas as the massive favorite to win his recruitment.

If that's what happens then it really won't be that big of a deal to Georgia. A few days ago they earned that commitment from Dollar who is a five-star and No. 2 tight end in the country. Sure it would be nice to add Williams as well, but Georgia already has the better player committed to their recruiting class.

Smart and Georgia still have one week to change Williams' mind and convince him to pick them instead though. It isn't looking very likely, but crazier things have happened before. Just look at last year when Georgia signed three of the top 10 tight ends in the country in the 2026 recruiting class.

So even though things aren't looking good for Georgia right now they should not be doubted. Smart is as good of a recruiter as anyone, so anything is still possible.
