The past few days have not been great for Georgia when it comes to their recruitment of five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. Curtis, whos is the No. 1 QB in the country, has been committed to Georgia since May, but his commitment is now in jeopardy.

Curtis took a visit to Vanderbilt on Wednesday and will return on Saturday to watch the Commodores take on Missouri. Members of Curtis's camp have urged Georgia fans to not worry stating he will still be a Bulldogs, but new reports continue to flood in saying otherwise.

Vanderbilt continues to pick up steam with 5-star Georgia QB commit Jared Curtis

The above report from Rivals indicates that Vanderbilt is continuing to pick up steam with and is making a "serious run" at Curtis. By now everyone knows that the Commodores have been pushing hard for Curtis these last few days, but this report continues to paint a bad picture for Georgia.

Georgia fans wouldn't have had anything to worry about if the initial reports that surfaced on Thursday were the only reports shared. But every time a new report is published that shows that Curtis is that much closer to actually flipping to Vanderbilt. So as long as new reports continue to surface about Curtis and Vanderbilt, Georgia fans should continue to be worried.

Georgia will likely learn a lot about their standing with Curtis immediately after his visit on Saturday. If he is going to flip to Vanderbilt he likely will soon after this visit, but if he is going to stick with Georgia he'll likely make that announcement sometime next week as well.

These next few days are extremely critical for UGA as they will shape the future of Georgia football. If Curtis sticks with Georgia then the future is very bright, but losing him to Vanderbilt of all teams would paint a very concerning picture for the future of UGA football.
