One of Georgia football's top commits in the 2026 recruiting class is four-star tight end Lincoln Keyes. He has been committed to UGA for quite some time now, in fact he was the first recruit to commit to Georgia's 2026 class back in November.

This clearly shows that he desperately wants to be a Bulldog, but recent recruiting news at the tight end position could cause him to back off his commitment and look elsewhere. Georgia just added fellow four-star tight end Brayden Fogle to their recruiting class on July 4, and the Bulldogs are also the team to beat for five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro.

So even though it would make a lot of sense if these developments scared Keyes away, a recent report from Rivals' Jed May shows that will not be happening.

4-star Lincoln Keyes is all in on Georgia

Even though Georgia has already earned a commitment from a tight end ranked higher than Keyes and are on the verge of landing a five-star tight end as well, Keyes is still all in on staying committed to Georgia. In fact, Keyes is reportedly dong his part in recruiting more players to join him at Georgia.

On top of helping with the recruiting effort, Keyes is also working extra hard this summer to improve his own game. May shared that Keyes is working with a trainer specifically to help him improve his blocking, which typically is the thing tight ends struggle with the most when they first get to college.

Both of these updates are an awesome thing for Georgia fans to read, but the best thing of all is that Kirby Smart does not need to worry about Keyes' commitment. Keyes will officially be a Bulldog when he signs in December, and he will immediately become a player who can make an impact the second he arrives in Athens.
