Georgia is still on the prowl as they look to add a quarterback to their 2027 recruiting class. After losing the recruitment for the No. 1 QB in this class it immediately became very apparent how important it was for them to earn a commitment from a quarterback soon.

Kirby Smart has pursued countless quarterbacks since losing Haven, but he has a new recruit in mind now. And he tasked none other than offensive coordinator Mike Bobo to pursue this target.

This isn't just any target though as it is four-star Jamison Roberts who is currently committed to Oklahoma.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Roberts is the No. 244 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 19 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 12 player from his home state of Alabama as well.

Roberts committed to Oklahoma at the beginning of March, but it looks like that commitment isn't 100 percent set in stone. If it were then why would he be letting other coaches visit him to recruit him?

It's unclear how interested Roberts actually is in Georgia, but there has to be some interest if Bobo is heading to recruit him in person. More information will likely come out in the days after this visit, but for now he appears to be one of the top targets Georgia is interested in right now.

Fellow four-star Peter Bourque is another quarterback Georgia has been after as well, but there have been a lot of mixed reports surrounding his recruitment.

Regardless of how things go with Roberts, Georgia needs to add a quarterback to their recruiting class soon. If they can do that then their recruiting class would likely skyrocket, and hopefully the player to do that is Roberts.
