Georgia's G-Day scrimmage nearly turned into a disaster when starting running back Nate Frazier went down with an injury during his first touch of the game. After transfer linebacker Amaris Williams was ruled out for the season after tearing his ACL earlier this week, the last thing anyone wanted to see was another Bulldog go down with something serious.

Thankfully Kirby Smart confirmed after G-Day that Frazier's injury wasn't serious. In fact, Frazier was begging to get back in the game, but for obvious reasons the coaching staff did not allow that to happen.

Smart however is known for not giving away any details when it comes to injuries, so there was a chance he was just saying this so people stop talking about it. Thankfully the below video captured Frazier walking without a limp after the G-Day scrimmage ended which should put any remaining worries to bed.

Frazier is everything for Georgia this season. Sure the Bulldogs passing game should be just fine with Gunner Stockton back for a second season as their starter, but any passing game will be limited without a good run game.

Frazier being healthy is key for Georgia to have a good run game. Yes they have other solid running backs below him on the depth chart like Chauncey Bowens, but Frazier being healthy will make sure their run game is as good as possible.

Smart did say one thing though that is a bit concerning. He said that Frazier's injury is the same injury that happened to him during their game against Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff. That injury still nagging him months later is not a good sign, so this is definitely something to monitor all offseason.

But for now Frazier looks healthy in this video and Smart said there is nothing to worry about, so that should help fans rest easy all offseason.
