G-Day is finally here which marks one of the most exciting days of the offseason for Georgia football. This is the one chance fans get to see the team in action before the season begins in the fall, so fans across the country eagerly await G-Day every year.
Unfortunately some horrific news struck the program while fans were still getting comfy in their seats. Starting running back Nate Frazier unsurprisingly got the first carry of the game, and he unfortunately limped off to the sideline after suffering an unknown injury.

Nate Frazier goes down with injury on first carry of Georgia's G-Day
The injury bug has really been catching up to Georgia at the end of spring. It all began earlier this week when transfer linebacker Amaris Williams tore his ACL. He was immediately ruled out for the season, so this was quite the blow for Georgia to handle.
Fast forward a couple days and starting defensive back Ellis Robinson sprained his ankle. They originally thought he would need surgery, but it turns out that won't be necessary. Robinson is expected to make a full recovery long before fall camp begins, so his injury isn't one anyone needs to worry about.
Frazier going down however is very problematic. He was Georgia's No. 1 running back last season and was projected to have an even bigger season this year. And with Chauncey Bowens by his side they had the potential to become the best running back duo in the country. This injury however puts that in major jeopardy.
No information about this injury has come out yet, and until it does fans will be terrified about what the worst case scenario could mean. Kirby Smart undoubtedly will be asked for an update after G-Day is over, so fans will get more answers very soon.
