Jayden Wade is the No. 1 quarterback in the country who has been committed to Georgia since last November. Kirby Smart believes that Wade is the future of Georgia's offense, but that is only the case if he sticks with Georgia and signs with the Bulldogs.
Wade is a member of the 2028 recruiting class, so his recruitment will still last another year and a half. That is an uncomfortable amount of time as many other schools will have plenty of time to try and flip him from Georgia. But Smart undoubtedly will do whatever it takes to not let that happen.
Wade recently sat down with On3 and discussed his status with Georgia. That article is behind a paywall so only paid subscribers can read it, but Wade took to social media to give fans some exclusive intel on what is discussed in that article.
I understand that he may not be, but Dawg nation certainly is. Too many commit, then use the name and platform to re-up for bigger dollars elsewhere. Hope he socks bc we got his back ✊🏾 #GoDawgs

Jayden Wade updates his recruitment, current standing with Georgia
Georgia fans who are subscribed to On3 can read the article, but Wade said enough in the comments of the post for those who are not. The above Georgia fan is voicing his concerns surrounding Wade's commitment. He believes Wade could be using Georgia for attention to try and earn a bigger NIL offer, and after what Jared Curtis did last year that isn't a crazy suggestion.
Thankfully as the conversation went on Wade decided to chime in. He didn't say anything specifically, but his "Go Dawgs" comment tells fans everything they need to know.

Wade potentially flipping will be discussed until he signs with Georgia in December 2027, but as it stands right now there is nothing to worry about.
Another reason why fans shouldn't be too worried is because Kirby Smart is taking the necessary steps just in case he does leave. He has been recruiting other 2028 quarterbacks very hard, so if Wade does decommit he should be able to add someone else.
But for now Georgia doesn't have to worry about Wade decommitting, so they can instead turn their attention to the battle he is currently in as he attempts to hold onto the No. 1 QB ranking in the 2028 class.
