Monday was a big day for Georgia as five-star running back Kemon Spell announced his commitment to Georgia. Spell is the No. 1 ranked running back in the country, so this news was as good as it gets on the recruiting trail. Naturally Georgia fans were extremely excited after seeing this news, and so were some of Georgia’s other commits.
This includes five-star quarterback Jayden Wade who is the No. 1 overall player in the country.

5-star QB Jayden Wade couldn’t hold back his excitement
Wade is the No. 1 overall player in the country in the 2028 recruiting class. He has been committed to Georgia for a few months now, and ever since he has been very vocal about how much he loves UGA. So when Spell made the decision to commit to Georgia on Monday he could not hold back his excitement.
So he took to social media and reacted with the eyeball emoji which essentially means he is loving what he’s seeing.
Both Wade and Spell were in Athens this past weekend on a visit, so there is a great chance they met and got to know each other. And now that they are both committed to Georgia it is very likely that they will take their relationship to the next level.
It is still a few years until both players are in Athens together, but the hype surrounding their arrival is already growing. Just imagine how great Georgia’s offense will be when Spell and Wade are starting together. Having two five-star players in Georgia’s backfield at the same time just isn’t fair for the rest of the country, but that will be UGA’s reality in a few years.
There is a lot of optimism that Georgia could get more good recruiting news in the coming days, but for now they can celebrate having the best running back in the country coming to Georgia.
