Kellan Hall is the No. 2 overall player in the country and a five-star defensive lineman. He just announced the top 10 schools in his recruitment, and Georgia thankfully made the cut.
Georgia also found out that they’ll be hosting Hall on a visit during their week four matchup against Oklahoma, so the importance of that game just grew even more knowing he will be in attendance.

5-star Kellan Hall is ready to learn more about Georgia
Hall has shown a lot of interest in Georgia early on in his recruitment. He is only a member of the 2028 recruiting class, so his recruitment still has a long way to go. Kirby Smart however has been pulling all the right strings so far.
Smart and Georgia were reportedly the first school to reach out to him when coaches were first allowed to contact recruits in the 2028 class. That can stand out in a big way to a player because it shows how important they are to that school.
Hall appears to be returning the favor so far as he has spoken highly of Georgia since then. Now he is ready to take his relationship with Georgia to the next level when he’s in town for what could be the biggest home game of Georgia’s season this year.
Multiple things must fall Georgia’s way to land Kellan Hall
Since Hall is the No. 2 player in the country it goes without saying that it will be difficult to win his recruitment. That means a few things will have to go Georgia’s way if they’re going to come out on top.
They first need to make him feel like their most important recruit. That so far appears to be occurring, but they need Hall to know how valuable he is to them.
Then Georgia needs to come up with a competitive NIL offer for Hall. There's little chance that Georgia will make the highest offer for him, but if they can be within the same ballpark of the highest offer then they could still have a chance.
Lastly they need Hall to not care too much about NIL money. Georgia has found success in landing elite recruits who don’t care a lot about money, like Kemon Spell who is the No. 1 running back in the 2027 class. If that sentiment exists within Hall then a slightly smaller offer from Georgia likely wouldn’t deter him.
Oregon, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Texas make up the rest of Hall’s top 10. That is a scary list of schools to have to go up against, but Georgia is capable of taking down any one of these schools.
It won’t be easy by any means, but Georgia is in the running right now and that’s all they can realistically ask for at this point.
