The most important recruit in every recruiting class for Georgia is their quarterback. That is why losing Jared Curtis last year was such a big loss because a player of his caliber has the ability to change the outlook of Georgia's program on his own.
Georgia however will be just fine without him as long as they continue to recruit the position well. Kirby Smart and his staff are finally making some noise with some quarterback recruits, but the only problem is that two players are showing a lot of love back to them.
So Smart may have to decide which player he prefers soon.

Kirby Smart may have to decide between Davin Davidson and Peter Bourque
Davin Davidson is a four-star quarterback who is a relatively new name to Georgia. The Bulldogs offered him a scholarship just a couple months ago, but ever since then they have grown really close to each other.
That relationship will reach its peak later this spring when he makes a visit to Athens.
It's unclear if Georgia is his No. 1 school or not, but it is clear that they are going to be a major player in his recruitment. It however also turns out that they are a major player in Peter Bourque's recruitment as well.
Bourque is a top 100 player in the 2027 recruiting class who has been showing Georgia a lot of positive signs. In fact, some even think that Georgia has the most momentum in his recruitment right now.
So while Georgia doesn't know exactly where they stand with Davidson, there is a chance they could be his top school as well. That would then leave Smart with a big decision to make because he would have to decide which player he prefers the most. This decision could change the trajectory of the program, so that decision (if and when he has to make it) would be one of the biggest decisions Smart has had to make in quite some time.
