Georgia fans either love or hate Mike Bobo. Sometimes it is a little bit of both depending on how the last game went, but feelings towards Bobo are as volatile as they have ever been with any coach at Georgia.

Sometimes those negative feelings are deserved, but for the most part the hate he receives is not fair. That is why One's J.D. Pickell included him on his top 10 most wrongfully disprespected people in college football.

Bobo is entering his fourth season as Georgia's offensive coordinator, and ever since he arrived in Athens all he has done is win. He helped lead Georgia to a 13-1 record in 2023 before winning back-to-back SEC Championships the last two seasons. Bobo has received a lot of help from Georgia's elite defenses, but last year's success arguably had more to do with his offense firing on all cylinders.

This success however hasn't been good enough for a large percentage of Georgia fans who are still upset with the way the offense has performed. At times those feelings have been justified, but overall Bobo has not deserved the hate he receives. That is why he was the No. 7 person on On3's list of the most wrongfully disrespected people in college football.

Georgia fans will always have their issues with Bobo, but it's clear that Kirby Smart wants him to stick around. This offseason Bobo received a massive raise to continue coaching at Georgia, and this came after he was a finalist for the Broyles Award which goes to the nation's best assistant.

If Smart thinks Bobo is the right coach for Georgia then that should be good enough for the fans, Unfortunately that is not how things have worked in the past. If Georgia loses Bobo usually is the first person to be blamed, and even when Georgia wins the offense still doesn't meat the standards of some fans.

But On3 is correct, Bobo has never deserved the hate he deserves. Sure he isn't he perfect coach, but no one is. So as long as Georgia keeps winning fans should be begging for him to stay in Athens forever.
