G-Day is right around the corner which marks the most exciting day of the season for the Georgia football program. Georgia fans were unfortunately told earlier this offseason that G-Day would not be televised which would mark the second year in a row that fans were left in the dark.

Fans were rightfully outraged by this, but this weekend they were met with great news that G-Day will in fact be availble to watch from home now.

Georgia caved and are finally giving fans the option to watch G-Day at home

The reason why G-Day wasn't going to be televised was never shared. That fact made it even more frustrating for fans because G-Day is the only day they get to watch Georgia play in the offseason. So the fact that no one could even tell them why this was being taken for them made this announcement even worse.

Fans however don't have to worry anymore because they do have the option to watch from home. Unfortunately they will have to pay to do so because it is only being televised on ESPN+ and SECN+.

Fans also have the option to head to Athens to watch G-Day in person. This event never sells out completely, so instead of paying to watch at home fans can pay to watch in person instead.

Georgia will have a few scrimmages throughout the spring, in fact they already had their first this past weekend. So G-Day being televised may not be as big of a deal for the team because they would have the same practice regardless of if it was on TV or not.

But fans will thankfully have a choice to watch G-Day at home if they aren't able to make the trip to Athens. It's a little unfortunate they will have to pay to do so, but that is better than not being able to watch at all.
