Following every former Georgia football player in the NFL can be a difficult thing to do because of how many Bulldogs there are in the NFL, but one player everyone will pay close attention to their entire career is tight end Brock Bowers.
Bowers just finished his first season in the NFL with the Las Vegas Raiders where he broke multiple NFL records. He finished the season with a whopping 112 receptions for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. This season from Bowers was so strong that he even finished in second in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
It's clear that Bowers has a bright future in the NFL in front of him and could become one of the greatest tight ends of all time. That might be a wild claim to make, but it is clear that the Raiders believe this as well.

Major implications for Brock Bowers.https://t.co/5JbAwdSvUI
Brock Bowers is the future of the Raiders
Jonathan Williams with Georgia Bulldogs on SI reported that the Raiders are looking to trade fellow tight end Michael Mayer. Mayer has been a tight end with the Raiders for two seasons now, but he has not had the production that Bowers has had.
In his two seasons with the Raiders, Mayer has recorded 48 catches for 460 yards and two touchdowns. These stats alone show you that Bowers is the much better player, and in light of that it looks like the Raiders are hoping to trade Mayer elsewhere. This will give Bowers that much more of an opportunity to shine with the Raiders and become one of the faces of their franchise.
Regardless of if the Raiders are able to find a team to trade Mayer to or not, Bowers will be "the guy" in Las Vegas. So if there is any career to pay close attention to it is Bowers, because he is already proving that he is one of the best tight ends in the entire NFL.
