Georgia is 4-0 and the No. 2 team in the country after knocking off Oklahoma last week by 28 points. The Bulldogs have not been challenged yet this season, but over their next five games they will face multiple teams who could realistically beat them.
While Georgia stares down their most difficult stretch of the season, here are final score predictions for their next five games ahead of this weekend's matchup against Vanderbilt.
1. Vanderbilt Commodores
Up next for Georgia is another easy game on paper against Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs are favored by over three touchdowns and that was before the news of Vanderbilt starting quarterback Jared Curtis potentially not playing due to injury.
If Curtis doesn't play this game will swing even more in Georgia's favor, but even if he does this should still be an easy victory for UGA. Vanderbilt doesn't have the talent on either side of the football to compete with Georgia, so even if Curtis plays this game shouldn't be a problem for them to win.
Prediction: Georgia 45, Vanderbilt 10
2. @ Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama is the sixth game for Georgia this season and this will be their first big test. This matchup actually marks the beginning of one of the most difficult four game stretches in the country this season, so it would be nice to begin that stretch with a win.
Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell is off to an impressive start in his first year as a starter with the Tide. He has thrown for over 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns to go with just two interceptions, but with every game that passes it feels like he is getting better and better.
Alabama has cruised to a 4-0 record, but before they get a chance to play Georgia they have to play at Mississippi State this weekend which presents a real opportunity for them to pick up their first loss of the season. Regardless of what happens in that game Alabama is a team that has had Georgia's number since Kirby Smart became head coach. He has only beat the Tide twice in his career, but Georgia will find a way to squeak out a win on the road and beat Alabama for the second time in a row.
Prediction: Georgia 23, Alabama 20
3. Auburn Tigers
After Alabama the Bulldogs get a pretty easy game at home. Auburn is 3-1 this season with their lone loss coming against Florida, so overall their resume isn't all that bad. They are coming off a narrow home win against Vanderbilt though which doesn't look that great.
Georgia is 10-1 against Auburn in Smart's tenure and this year does not look like the year the Tigers will pick up their second win against Smart. Georgia will cruise to their seventh victory of the season in dominant fashion and head into their bye week a perfect 7-0.
This victory would also mark the tenth win in a row against Auburn.
Prediction: Georgia 38, Auburn 13
4. Florida Gators (Atlanta)
Georgia's bye week comes at the perfect time this yer because after it ends they face two teams currently ranked inside the top 10 away from home. Their first opponent after the bye is Florida which is being played in Atlanta this year.
Florida is one of the surprise teams in the SEC this year after dominating Ole Miss last week and jumping into the AP Poll's top 10 this week. The Gators haven't been a team Georgia's had to worry about for quite some time, but that won't be the case this year.
Florida is led by a strong offense who is No. 2 in the country in scoring so far this season. Their defense isn't as strong though and that could be where Georgia has an edge since they have the No. 1 scoring offense in the country.
Florida however will prove to be Georgia's biggest test yet and they will actually hand Georgia their first loss of the season by getting their first win in this rivalry since 2020.
Prediction: Florida 31, Georgia 30
5. @ Ole Miss Rebels
Life unfortunately doesn't get any easier after facing Florida because up next is a road game at Ole Miss. Georgia is looking for some revenge in this game after the Rebels knocked them out of the playoff last season, but they return quarterback Trinidad Chambliss who tortured UGA both times they played last season.
If Georgia loses to Florida this is a game they will feel like they have to win. A second loss would essentially knock them out of the SEC Championship race and would give them zero breathing room when it comes to making the College Football Playoff, but if they can win their final three games set them up to finish with a solid 11-1 record.
Georgia's defense for the first time will do a great job against Chambliss and they will force a late turnover to seal another big road win. Georgia's final three games as of now look like three easy victories, so winning this game would give Georgia a great chance at finishing 11-1 (8-1) which is plenty good enough to make the CFP while also having a shot at the SEC Championship game too.
