Georgia football has finally taken over the No. 1 team recruiting ranking on 247Sports for the 2025 class. And with two weeks left until the early signing period begins, Kirby Smart and Georgia have no intentions of giving that up.

One uncommitted recruit that Smart and his staff are hoping commits to Georgia is five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry. The Bulldogs have been in a great position in his recruitment all cycle, and they currently hold all five crystal ball prediction in their favor to win this recruitment. But Terry is still showing interest in other schools, which includes rival Auburn who he is visiting this weekend.

While this may feel a little concerning at first, a Rivals recruiting expert is here to tell Georgia fans that there is no need to worry at all.

"For weeks, the feeling has been that the Manchester, Ga. standout, who has been committed to Georgia and USC earlier in his recruitment, is down to Alabama and Georgia," Adam Gorney said viaRivals.com. "But digging even deeper, the word has been the Bulldogs still feel very comfortable in this recruitment."

Georgia is still the team to beat

According to Gorney, Terry's recruitment is really only down to Georgia and Alabama, even with his visit to Auburn this weekend. Who knows why he is even going there in the first place, but it's nice knowing that Georgia fans don't really need to worry about it.

Gorney revealed even more info however that Georgia feels "very comfortable" about their chances to win this recruitment. That doesn't mean it is officially over, but again, this is another good sign for UGA.

Hopefully this is how Terry's recruitment plays out and Georgia gets some great news from him in about two weeks, because if Georgia can hold on this would give them one of the best defensive line classes of all time.
