Georgia just took down Florida over the weekend and now have their sites set on Mississippi State. But an even larger matchup is looking in two weeks as the Bulldogs will welcome Texas to Athens on Nov. 15.

This game once looked like it was going to be an easy victory for Georgia, but after four straight wins for Texas that no longer is the case. Texas also has a few clear advantages entering this matchup as well, but the SEC just gave UGA a significant advantage of their own thanks to a very favorable start time.

On3 confirmed on Monday that Georgia’s matchup against Texas will begin at 7:30 pm EST. The game will also air on ABC as well.

This is the perfect start time for Georgia because it gives fans the best opportunity to make Sanford Stadium as rowdy as possible. Night games are always the most difficult for the road team to win, so this start time gives Georgia the best chance to be able to beat Texas.

The Longhorns are on a bye this week so they will enter this matchup with a 7-2 record. They are also on a four game win streak after beating Vanderbilt this past weekend at home. This win sent Texas skyrocketing up the AP Poll where they are now the No. 13 team in the country.

Georgia is also on a four game win streak but have a chance to make it five in a row this weekend with a win at Mississippi State.

An official spread has not been released for this game yet, but it’s expected for Georgia to be a small favorite. The fact that this game will be at night though likely will shift that spread a little more in UGA’s favor because this will give Georgia a better chance to beat Texas.
