Georgia baseball hadn’t won the SEC since 2008. That changed Saturday night when they clinched the SEC Championship (with four games to spare) after their 13-8 victory over LSU.

The celebrations after this victory were timeless. Players stormed the field, Gatorade was dumped on head coach Wes Johnson, and the post game press conference was electric.

One message however stood out from everything else, and this message rings true for every single sport that’s played at Georgia.

"This is sweet," shortstop Kolby Branch said via 247Sports.com. "This is why you come back to the University of Georgia, and this is why you play baseball here."

Georgia star Kolby Branch makes the perfect pitch for all athletics in Athens

The University of Georgia is special. Every single team at Georgia has a history of success, and while some sports have had more than others the sky is the limit no matter what the sport is.

And that is why people come to play at Georgia because they know they can win at the highest level.

How is that possible? Because of the very next thing that came out of Branch's mouth during when he spoke with the media.

"It's a full team effort, the pitchers, the hitters, the coaches. I couldn't be prouder,” Branch said.

Just how good does Georgia athletics have it right now? The football team keeps winning the SEC with no end in sight. Both basketball teams just made the NCAA Tournament. Track and Field is dominant. Women's tennis is a wagon. Softball just beat the No. 1 team in the country.

The list goes on and on, but Branch put it perfectly. Georgia is so good at every sport because they know how to play as a team in every aspect of the game. And that (combined with all the winning that taks place across campus) is why anyone would be crazy to not come play at Georgia.
