Stetson Bennett will forever be known as the greatest quarterback to ever step foot on Georgia's campus. His success will be remembered forever, and it's that success that has made it so difficult for Georgia fans to not be able to cheer him on anymore.

Since leaving Georgia, Bennett as been the backup quarterback with the Los Angeles Rams. His rookie deal however has just one year left to it, and at the conclusion of that deal Georgia fans might see their biggest wish come true.

And that wish is the opportunity to cheer for Bennett one more time.

Atlanta should think about trading for Stetson Bennett

Buck Belue with 680 The Fan believes that Bennett would be the perfect addition for the Atlanta Falcons. And considering most Georgia fans are also fans of the Falcons, this would be one of the best things that could possibly happen.

Atlanta could wait until next offseason and try to grab him in free agency, but Belue thinks they should act much sooner than that. He believes Atlanta should give the Rams a call right now and try to trade for him.

Bennett hasn't done anything during the regular season of an NFL game yet, so this trade would be pretty easy for them to make. Belue believes all it would cost them is one seventh round pick. If that's actually the price then it would make a lot of sense to bring Bennett to Atlanta for the final season of his rookie deal.

Bennett would have to come to Atlanta and win the starting job over Michael Penix, but he hasn't shown anything that guarantees he would win that job over Bennett. Bennett however has shined in the few opportunities he has received during preseason games. But even if Bennett doesn't win the starting job or does and flames out, the price to take the chance is worth it.

At this point it doesn't seem like any conversations between the Falcons and Rams has occurred, but Georgia fans should pray that this unfolds so they can once again cheer Bennett on.
