There is nothing quite like piling on a wine and cheese team like Texas when it loses. Yes, there are other teams out there that can evoke a similar reaction when they do stumble, but Horns Down has been a rallying cry for teams who do not like the way Texas thinks its better than everyone else. Well, on last Saturday night, Georgia was once again way better than Texas for the third meeting in a row.

While Texas has become a new hated rival of Georgia since the Longhorns joined the SEC, Texas A&M has never liked Texas for even a second. Although he never played them when he was an SEC star, 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel certainly loves to see his Texas A&M Aggies win in the same weekend Texas goes down. He was just as happy about the onside kick as Georgia fans were.

Manziel offered this on Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson about the onside kick.

"That onside kick was a dagger! ... You play to win the game, man! It's all fair. You better be on your P's and Q's all game, every minute between those lines. If you're not, a good team will catch you."

Texas A&M and Georgia enter Week 13 as total playoff locks, while Texas is all but eliminated from it.

Johnny Manziel spoke the truth about Georgia pulling off the onside kick

Manziel may have reacted to the onside kick like many watching the game would have. The big key in his analysis is that you have to expect for something like that to happen within the context of a game, especially when you are going up against a quality opponent. Steve Sarkisian did say similar things going into the game, knowing Kirby Smart would do something like this, but he could not stop them.

Truth be told, the onside kick did not decide the game; the ensuing Lawson Luckie touchdown to make it 28-10 Georgia did. However, this was a play that could serve as a jumping off point for this Georgia team going forward. Moments like these are where championship pedigree is forged. This is a team peaking at the right time, playing with a ton of confidence. Nobody wants to face this team...

In the end, Manziel is just happy that his Aggies overcame a 27-point deficit at halftime to stun South Carolina. They only have Samford and Texas remaining. While there is a snowball's chance that Texas could beat A&M to make it to the playoff at 9-3 (6-2), the Aggies need to win to keep Georgia out of Atlanta. If the Aggies were to lose to the Longhorns, Georgia would take their place in the title bout.

For now, Manziel's Aggies and Georgia can sit back, relax and enjoy all that cupcake week has to offer.
