Georgia football is currently sitting with just five commits in their 2026 recruiting class. It still isn't time to panic yet about how small this class is, but every Georgia fan would love to see another commit soon.

While UGA waits for their next commit, they also have to hope that none of those five commits decommit from the program. That is always a major concern in today's day and age, even at a program like Georgia, and unfortunately a couple of Georgia's commits may be looking elsewhere.

The first Georgia commit who may be interested in flipping to a new school is Jontavious Wyman, who Rivals stated is on "flip watch" on Friday. On top of that, Georgia safety commit Zech Fort just announced three upcoming visits to other schools as well.

4-star safety Zech Fort

Fort is currently Georgia's top commit in the 2026 class, coming in at No. 116 in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. So the fact that On3's Chad Simmons is reporting that he has scheduled three upcoming visits is very concerning.

The three schools he is visiting are all very interesting places to visit as well. Georgia Tech is a rival of Georgias, so it would be a shame if he went there instead of UGA. Notre Dame on the other hand is a blue blood program who just beat the Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff, so Fort leaving Georgia for the Irish would leave a bad taste in the mouths of Georgia fans as well. Lastly is Miami (FL), who feels like a rival for this upcoming season after Carson Beck's decision to transfer there.

Just because a commit is scheduling visits elsewhere does not mean they will end up flipping away from Georgia, but that is the current fear with Fort. Hopefully Kirby Smart and his staff will stay in his ear, because this is not a commit Georgia will want to lose.
