One of the best commits in Georgia football's 2026 recruiting class is defensive lineman Seven Cloud. Cloud is a name Georgia fans likely have heard for quite some time now because he was originally a member of UGA's 2023 recruiting class. But Cloud ended up going the Junior College route before reuniting with Georgia back in December when he announced his commitment to Georgia once again.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Cloud is the No. 1 overall JUCO recruit in the country. This unfotunately does not impact Georgia's overall class ranking very much, but he still is one of the best commits Georgia has in their class right now.
The hope now is that Cloud won't flip away from Georgia and head to a different program instead. Considering he was also committed to UGA a few years ago and is originally from Georgia as well, there hasn't been much concern surrounding his commitment to begin with. However, crazier things have happened in recruiting before, so even Cloud's commitment isn't 100 percent safe.
A recent quote from Cloud after his official visit to Georgia this past weekend however paints a completely different picture in his recruitment by eliminating any chance of changing his commitment.
"Won't be changing unless the Falcons find a way to get me out of JUCO."
There’s only one scenario that could prevent Seven Cloud (@_SevenCloud7) from signing with Georgia.

No. 1 overall recruit will not flip away from Georgia
If Cloud is somehow able to find a way to skip college football and go play for the Atlanta Falcons then more power to him. But since that isn't possible, he will be spending the next few years in Athens with Georgia.
This quote from Cloud is quite funny and a very unique way to say that he isn't backing off his commitment to Georgia no matter what. This is a great thing for Georgia to see because now Kirby Smart and his staff can focus more of their time pursuing other recruits and making sure other commits don't flip away from Georgia.
But who knows, maybe Cloud will get his wish and play for the Falcons after a stellar few years with Georgia.
