Trinidad Chambliss is a name that will haunt Georgia fans forever. The Ole Miss quarterback put on one of the best performances the College Football Playoff has ever seen, and if it wasn't for his near perfect game Georgia would likely be marching on to the semifinals.

While a part of Georgia fans will always dislike what Chambliss did to them, what he did to Gunner Stockton after the game will help them forgive him and maybe grow to like him.

Trinidad Chambliss showed Gunner Stockton the ultimate respect

Stockton was seen slowly leaving the field after their loss to Ole Miss. He clearly was very sad and disappointed that Georgia came up short, and all he wanted to do was get back to the locker room so he could sit in peace. But Chambliss tracked him down to give him a hug and congratulate him for the great game that he had.

Chambliss didn't have to do that. He didn't have to go out of his way to give Stockton a hug when the rest of his teamamtes were celebrating one of the biggest wins in Ole Miss history. But Chambliss clearly knows that some things are bigger than sports, and he wanted to have a quick conversation with Stockton and show him some respect.

Chambliss outplayed Stockton during this game, but the Georgia QB more than held his own. He took hit after hit and kept getting back up and even put Georgia in position to win this game. They unfortunately came up just short, but Stockton should be proud of the way he played.

Ole Miss is the last team from the SEC remaining in the playoff. Since they were responsible for ending Georgia's season fans may not want to cheer for them, but after seeing the type of person Chambliss is maybe UGA fans should cheer him and the Rebels on throughout the rest of the playoff.
