Zacharaiah Branch is one of the top wide receivers available in the 2026 NFL Draft. It is easy to see why after the record breaking season he just had with Georgia in 2025.

With Branch it isn't a matter of if he will be drafted but where he will be selected and by what team. It is nearly impossible to predict who will end up picking any one player, but for Branch it is becoming more and more clear that the Atlanta Falcons are the most likely team to select him.

Over the last week there have been multiple reports that have indicated that the Falcons are extremely interested in picking Branch. It however is likely that they are interested in a few other wide receivers as well, but as more intel comes in it is becoming more apparent that he may be their top choice.

Georgia held their Pro Day on Wednesday and the Falcons sent countless executives to Athens to watch. This includes new Falcons President Matt Ryan who was spotted chatting it up with Branch for a long time after his workout. The above report also indicates that the Falcons attention was "a little bit different" when Branch began running routes.

Branch going to the Falcons is best case scenario for Georgia. A vast majority of Georgia fans are also fans of the Falcons, and fans have been begging for Atlanta to draft more Bulldogs. Atlanta did so last year when they selected Jalon Walker in the first round, and it looks like there's a good chance they could select Branch this year as well.

Regardless of where Branch gets selected he has a long NFL career in front of him. He is one of the most explosive receivers in all of football, so he will make a huge impact on whoever ends up drafting him. But Georgia fans are crossing their fingers that it is the Falcons who end up selecting him.
