Georgia football just had one of their best days of recruiting this summer as the Bulldogs earned two elite commitments on Saturday. But now that this news is in the past, all anyone cares about is which recruits could be the next players to commit to Georgia.

Here are four players that Georgia fans should watch closely who could be the next recruits to commit to the Bulldogs.

5-star LB Tyler Atkinson

Five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson is potentially the most important recruit for Georgia remaining in the 2026 class. Atkinson not only is the top ranked player from Georgia, but he also is the No. 1 linebacker in the country as well. So he is someone that Georgia desperately needs in their class.

Atkinson has not announced a commitment date yet, but the expectation is for him to come off the board in July at some point. He also is expected to commit to Georgia over Oregon, Clemson and Texas as well, and after a recent message from Georgia's official social media accounts on Saturday it would be hard to see him picking anyone other than Georgia.

5-star RB Derrek Cooper

Every elite quarterback needs a solid running back in the backfield next to him, and that is what Jared Curtis is hoping to get from five-star running back Derrek Cooper. Cooper has scheduled his commitment date for July 20 where he will decide between Georgia, Texas, Florida State, Miami (FL) and Ohio State.

The Bulldogs have been viewed as the leader in this recruitment for the last month or so, and a recent workout video of Cooper may have secretly confirmed that. Things can still change over the next week, but Georgia fans should expect good news from Cooper right now.

4-star LB Nick Abrams

Four-star linebacker Nick Abrams is the next Georgia target scheduled to announce their commitment. Abrams will announce his decision on July 16 and will be deciding between Georgia, Michigan, Oregon and Alabama.

Not long ago most experts believed Michigan and Oregon were Abrams' favorites, but that however has changed in the last few days as reports indicate Georgia and Oregon are the frontrunners now. Georgia fans only have a few more days to wait for Abrams final decision and at this point it isn't clear who he will be committing to, but this would be another big win for Georgia if they can pull this one off.

4-star OL Breck Kolojay

Last but not least is four-staroffensive lineman Breck Kolojay, who similarly to Atkinson has not shared a commitment date yet. He has however announced that Georgia, Miami (FL), Tennessee and Ohio State are his four finalists.

On3 currently has the Hurricanes in the lead, but 247Sports has an official prediction logged in Georgia's favor. So at this point it is extremely uncertain who leads for Kolojay, but it's clear Georgia is motivated to add him to their class.
