4-star Georgia commit Kelsey Adams is going back on his word in favor of Lane Kiffin

Kelsey Adams is a four-star offensive tackle who is committed to Georgia. This past summer he was predicted to flip his recruitment to Lane Kiffin and LSU, but one month after that prediction was made he came out and said he was all in on Georgia and wasn't interested in Kiffin or LSU anymore.

Fast forward to week four of the college football season and that appears to no longer be the case as Adams will reportedly visit LSU this weekend.

LSU wasn't even on Georgia's radar anymore

Recruiting flips happen all the time in college football, even at an elite program like Georgia. That is especially the case when another great program like LSU gets involved especially now that they have Lane Kiffin. Georgia however wasn't expecting to have to worry about LSU anymore when it came to Adams' recruitment.

LSU picked up a lot of steam with Adams early in the summer with two predictions being placed for them to flip him in June. He never ended up flipping though and one month later in July he took to social media to pledge himself to Georgia once again. This likely made Georgia no longer worry about Adams' commitment especially when it came to LSU trying to flip him, but that isn't the case anymore.

Adams will visit LSU this weekend which undeniably proves that he has interest in playing for Kiffin. He showed this same interest back in June and ultimately chose to stick with Georgia, but who knows if that same outcome will occur this time around.

Georgia's impressive visitor list makes up for potential Kelsey Adams disappointment

Georgia is making moves of their own on the recruiting trail during their game against Oklahoma this weekend. The Bulldogs have one of the top visitor lists in the country that features two five-star commits in running back Kemon Spell and tight end Jaxon Dollar. Four-star quarterback commit Colton Nussmeier will also be in attendance on Saturday as well.

Nebraska commit Corey Hadley and NC Central commit Jayden Arrington will be at Georgia's game this weekend who are two prime flip candidates for Kirby Smart and his staff. There will even be three five-star recruits in the 2028 recruiting class in Athens this weekend as well.

Georgia will have to work hard to keep Adams in the fold after his visit to LSU. The Bulldogs however have a lot of momentum with other elite recruits, so even if they lose Adams they hopefully will make up for it with a couple commitments from the long list of big name recruits visiting this weekend.

It will be interesting to see what Adams decides to do, but all Georgia can do is focus on themselves by winning on the field and showing Adams how special it is to play at a place like UGA. If the can do that and he still leaves for Lane Kiffin and LSU then he was never meant to be a Bulldog in the first place.
