Georgia football is conducting their annual Pro Day on Wednesday in Athens, and it goes without saying that every Bulldog participating needs to put their best foot forward. All 32 NFL teams are represented at Georgia’s Pro Day this year, so this is as good of an opportunity as each player will get to show off their skill set before the NFL Draft next month.
While every player needs to have a good showing, there are a handful of players where it is extra important to have a great day. One of those players is linebacker Chaz Chambliss, who along with Dan Jackson was not invited to the NFL Combine a few weeks ago.
Jackson is already off to a great start at Pro Day, and it looks like Chambliss is having an impressive day so far as well.

Chambliss got his day off to a solid start with a very impressive 32-inch vertical jump.

He then followed that solid jump with an even better showing on the bench press where he recorded 30 reps, which is the most that’s been recorded so far at Georgia today.
Chambliss still has many more drills to go through at Pro Day where he will be able to show off his on-field abilities as well, but so far he is doing everything he needs to do show why it was a mistake not inviting him to the Combine this year. But even though he wasn’t invited to the Combine, the feeling from some NFL Draft experts is that he will be drafted at this year’s draft. And his performance so far at UGA’s Pro Day is cementing that.
So stay tuned throughout the rest of the day as many people likely will be talking about Chambliss as someone who is shooting up NFL mock drafts.
