Florida fan's embarrassing post goes viral after Kennedee Jackson flipped to Georgia

Florida fans will regret ever speaking about Kirby Smart and Georgia after losing Kennedee Jackson's commitment.

Georgia earned a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson on Saturday. Jackson is a top 100 recruit in the 2027 recruiting class which is reason enough for Georgia fans to be extremely excited, but the fact that he flipped from Florida is why this is one of Georgia's biggest recruiting wins this year.

Jackson was only committed to Florida for 11 days before he flipped to Georgia on Saturday. That made it very easy for Georgia fans to go back in time and see what Florida fans were saying after he committed to them 11 days ago, and unfortunately for one Gator fan he was exposed for saying something borderline insane.

Florida fan was exposed after doubting Kirby Smart in Kennedee Jackson's recruitment

"(Jon) Sumrall has a permanent locker for Kirby Smart" might be the most ridiculous thing anyone could say. Essentially that message means that Sumrall has been dominating Smart and that he will continue to dominate him for as long as he wants.

That obviously is a crazy thing to say because Sumrall and Smart haven't even played each other on the field yet. But Florida fans think Sumrall is already better than Smart simply because he has put together a solid 2027 recruiting class, but they should think twice before they talk about Smart in that way.

This social media post was originally made on June 2 when Jackson committed to Florida. Jackson made this decision when he still had a visit to Georgia scheduled for the following weekend, so at the time they did beat Smart for his commitment. But Jackson still took that visit and flipped to Georgia just 11 days after he committed to Florida, and the rest is history.

All of this could've been avoided though. This fan had every right to brag about Jackson's commitment at first, but he never should've disrespected Smart like this. Hopefully this will be a learning lesson for him because this won't be the last time Smart teaches a masterclass in recruiting at the expense of Florida.

Florida fans need a reminder about where they stand in rivalry with Georgia

Florida fans need to be reminded about where things stand in their rivalry with Georgia. Ever since Sumrall was hired they have been acting like they are on Georgia's level again, but in reality they aren't even playing the same sport.

Since Smart became head coach Georgia is 8-2 against Florida which includes five straight victories. Florida also hasn't even signed one recruiting class that is better than Georgia in the 10 years Smart has been head coach either.

So why do they think they have any right to talk about Georgia right now?

Jackson isn't the first example of Florida fans embarrassing themselves in a recruitment this year either. At the beginning of May they "beat Georgia" for four-star running back Andrew Beard. On paper they did beat Georgia because he is from the Peach State and Smart was still pursuing him, but Georgia already had two running backs committed which included the No. 1 back in the country in Kemon Spell.

So was that really a commitment worth bragging about?

At some point Florida fans need to wake up and learn their place in this rivalry. Until they beat Georgia one time in an actual football game they probably shouldn't say anything at all, but will that actually happen? Probably not.

So there's a great chance Georgia will experience a lot of great laughs similar to this throughout Sumall's tenure, and that will make the wins on the football field that much better.
