So many amazing things are happening at Georgia right now. Fall camp is finally here and the Georgia basketball program is making waves with one of the top recruits in the country.

Unfortunately it isn't all good news right now because ex-Bulldog Jalon Walker, who is entering his second season with the Atlanta Falcons, just suffered a season-ending injury on Tuesday.

Atlanta Falcons’ star Jalon Walker ruled out for the season after tearing ACL

On Tuesday Walker went down with an injury during an Atlanta Falcons practice. The injury was feared to be season-ending because he had to be carted off the field and the Falcons immediately ended practice.

After an MRI later in the day it was confirmed that Walker tore his ACL and will be out for the season.

Walker had a big rookie season last year as he recorded 5.5 sacks and forced two fumbles. He was expected to take a big leap during his second season this year, but he unfortunately won't see the field again until the 2027 season.

5-star AJ Williams’ recruiting twist allows Georgia to swing for the fences

The No. 1 recruit in the 2028 class was forward AJ Williams. He is someone that Georgia was actually in the running for as they recently made the cut in his top six, but on Tuesday Williams changed everything in his recruitment by reclassifying to the 2027 class.

Williams now is the No. 4 player in his new recruiting class, and Georgia is still one of the top teams in his recruitment. In fact, with each passing day it feels more and more like they could actually earn his commitment.

Williams is from the state of Georgia, so that benefits UGA in his recruitment. He also wants to go to a school where he can be the lead player where they have proof of developing some high level NBA talent, and Georgia fits that description. Georgia also has a $10 million donation they can use to increase their NIL offer as well.

Williams recruitment will finish a lot faster than originally expected, but with how this recruitment has been trending that might not be a bad thing for Mike White and Georgia.

Georgia football officially begins fall camp

Georgia's season begins in just 31 days. That may still feel like a long time, but after months of hardly any football news that is finally coming to an end.

Georgia will begin fall camp on Wednesday as they start gearing up for the season ahead, and what a year this could be. The Bulldogs are the favorites to win the SEC and one of the betting favorites to win a national championship. They were also just ranked No. 3 in the preseason Coaches Poll which was the highest ranking for an SEC team.

Fall camp means that fresh intel will finally start coming out about the team. Who are the leaders of this team? Who improved the most from last year? How are Georgia's incoming freshmen and transfers adjusting?

All of these questions will be answered over the next 31 days throughout fall camp before Georgia kicks their season off on Sept. 5 against Tennessee State.
