Georgia football has had arguably the best day they have had in quite some time in the transfer portal. Earlier on Tuesday, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs landed two commitments from players in the secondary. The first was Miami (FL) defensive back Jaden Harris and the second was defensive back Adrian Maddox, who Georgia stole from Florida.

And while those players are both huge additions to the program, the final commitment on Tuesday is by far the best.

Texas A&M transfer wide receiver Noah Thomas

Noah Thomas is a wide receiver from Texas A&M who late on Tuesday announced that he has officially committed to Georgia for his final season in college.

Thomas is fresh off a huge season with Texas A&M where he led the Aggies in all three major statistical categories. This includes his 39 receptions, 574 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. All three stats are also career highs for Thomas as well.

Thomas joins USC transfer Zachariah Branch as the two incoming wide receivers out of the transfer portal. It was crucual for Smart and his staff to overhaul the wide receiver room this offseason after the not so great year Georgia's receivers had this season, and that is exactly what happened after these two players decided to transfer to Georgia.

So what was a weakness for Georgia this season quickly is becoming a strength heading into next fall. It will be interesting to see who ends up at quarterback for Georgia, but whoever it is will likely be very pleased with the options that he now has at receiver to throw to.

Thomas likely will be the last receiver that Georgia gets out of the transfer portal, but combining him with Branch, the returning receivers and incoming freshman class makes potentially the best receiver room Georgia has had in quite some time.
