Georgia is full steam ahead into week three after taking down Western Kentucky 70-20 on Saturday. Up next is the start of SEC play as Georgia will hit the road to take on Arkansas.
It isn't too often that Georgia plays a football game in the morning, but that is what they will face when kickoff against Arkansas occurs before the clock strikes Noon at the Razorbacks stadium. This strange start time though should help Georgia far more than it will benefit Arkansas.
When do Georgia and Arkansas play?
Kickoff for Georgia's week three contest at Arkansas is scheduled for 12:00 pm EST on Saturday, Sept. 19 which is an 11:00 am local kick in Arkansas. This time might just be the perfect start time for Georgia for a variety of reasons.
Road environments can get pretty nasty during night games in the SEC, so whenever Georgia hits the road it's nice when it takes place during the day. Mid-afternoon games avoid this problem, but playing at noon is arguably the easiest time to play a road game as it tends to be the time when the home crowd is the quietest.
At Arkansas though a 12:00 pm EST start is actually even better because it is 11:00 am local time. So Arkansas fans won't have much time to get to the stadium and be loud because it will be halftime before it even hits 1 o'clock.
To take it one step further though this time is an even greater disadvantage for Arkansas because they just played a night game in week two across the country. Arkansas played at Utah on Saturday with an 8:15 pm local kickoff time which is 9:15 CST or 10:15 EST. This means Sunday will essentially be a wash for them in their preparations for Georgia because they'll get home far too late to be able to do any meaningful prep on Sunday.
This is something that Arkansas complained about months ago when this game time was announced. These complaints show that even Arkansas knows how much of an advantage this game time is for Georgia, but you won't hear anyone from Athens complaining about that.
How to watch Georgia football and Arkansas
Georgia and Arkansas will play on ABC. This comes after their week one game wasn't even available on TV and their matchup against Western Kentucky on Saturday was only on the SEC Network. This means Georgia's game at Arkansas will be their first of the season in front of a national audience

What does Vegas think of Georgia's matchup against Arkansas?
Georgia is a massive favorite over Arkansas as FanDuel Sportsbook currently favors UGA by 21.5 points. The over-under for this game is set at 53.5 points as well. ESPN's matchup predictor heavily skews in Georgia's favor as well as they give the Bulldogs a 96 percent chance to win this game.
It isn't that often that Georgia is favored by three touchdowns against an SEC team. That is especially the case when it is a road game like Georgia will face in week three against the Razorbacks. Arkansas however barely survived week one against North Alabama before being blown out by Utah in week two, so they may be one of the worst teams in the SEC this season. Georgia on the other hand is one of the best teams in the country, so this could be a long day for Arkansas.
