Where all those college football fans that have been questioning Georgia's recruiting class? They seem awfully quiet this morning, does anyone know why?

Oh, maybe it's because Georgia just flipped elite four-star wide receiver Jamir Dean from Penn State, maybe that's why all the naysayers are quiet right now.

Penn State will lose sleep after what Georgia's done to them in the 2027 recruiting class

Georgia has quickly become Penn State's worst nightmare. The latest example is how they flipped Dean, who is the No. 126 player in the country, from them on Monday morning.

Dean has been a top target for Kirby Smart and Georgia for the last few months. He committed to Penn State since May 1, but that never stopped Smart from going all out to win his recruitment.

Georgia was the only other school to get an official visit from Dean this year. Dean took that trip to Georgia on May 29 which he followed up with a visit to Penn State one week later. His recruitment went silent after those visits which was likely due to him seriously thinking about if he wants to stay committed to Penn State or not.

And it turns out that Georgia did enough to earn his commitment and flip him from the Nittany Lions just one and a half months after he originally committed to them.

Dean isn't the first 2027 recruit Georgia has stolen from Penn State this year. A few months ago they also flipped Kemon Spell from them as well who is the No. 1 running back in the country. Spell left Penn State after they fired former head coach James Franklin during the 2025 season, so Nittany Lions fans had a good excuse for that loss.

But Dean chose to leave their new coaching staff for Georgia which shows that they are still no match for Smart and the Bulldogs right now.

Kirby Smart has Georgia flipping recruits left and right

Georgia recruiting is at an all time high right now. Earning this commitment from Dean is huge for the program, but a few days ago they earned an even bigger commitment.

That occurred when Georgia flipped another elite recruit in offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson from none other than rival Florida. Jackson was only committed to Florida for 11 days, and considering he is a top 100 recruit it's clear that this was one of Georgia's biggest wins in the 2027 recruiting class so far.

Georgia still has a lot of work to do to get their 2027 recruiting class where they want it to be. As of now they are ranked No. 14 in the country according to 247Sports, and that is not where Georgia expects to be. But just a few weeks ago Georgia was outside the top 30, so the Bulldogs are trending inhe right direction.

So who could be the next recruit to commit to Georgia? There are a few candidates out there, but three-star EDGE Marcellus Young Casario is someone everyone should have their eyes on.
