Jayden Wade is Georgia's prized commit. He is the No. 1 quarterback in the 2028 recruiting class, and ever since he committed to Georgia last November he has been their most important commit.
A few schools have attempted to flip him, but so far they have had no success. The teams trying their best to win him over are unsurprisingly the top programs in the country like Alabama and Michigan, but even they haven't been able to convince him to ditch Georgia.
For some reason though Auburn felt like it was worth trying to flip him. Their efforts however came up embarrassingly short because the second they were linked with Wade he announced that he was reaffirming his commitment to Georgia.

Auburn got caught trying to steal 5-star Jayden Wade from Georgia
On Friday Wade publicly reaffirmed his commitment to Georgia. This came after a few schools were known to be aggressively pursuing him, so this was some news that Georgia desperately needed to see.
The timing of this announcement was impeccable though. Also on Friday word came out that Auburn was in pursuit of Wade and were trying their best to flip him, so it is quite funny (and embarrassing) that Wade shot them down the very same day.
Who knows why Auburn was even trying to flip him. Every other school like Auburn and Michigan who were trying flip him are at least on Georgia's level, but Auburn is an after thought in college football right now, so why would Wade ever entertain going there?
The only thing Auburn has going for them right now is that they were able to keep the final score within 10 points this last season against Georgia. Is that really a program the No. 1 quarterback in the country would want to play for?
These two reports coming out on the same day could just be a coincidence, but Georgia will take any opportunity they can get to point and laugh at Auburn.
Jayden Wade is the reason why Georgia fans need to leave Mike Bobo alone
All offseason Georgia fans have been adamantly against offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. They believe he is the sole reason they haven't won a playoff game in three years, so after Kirby Smart extended his contract this offseason their disdain for him grew even more.
But Kirby Smart doesn't care what anyone thinks. He believes that Bobo is the perfect offensive coordinator for Georgia, and there is nothing any fan can do about it.
Bobo does need to improve though if Georgia is going to win a National Championship, but Wade is another reason why fans should be patient with him. Bobo was Wade's main recruiter and one of the biggest reasons why he committed to Georgia. So if Smart fired him then there's a chance Wade would decide to leave Georgia and explore other options.
That is something that can't happen. Georgia's future is at its brightest with Wade in the picture, so if they need to keep Bobo around to ensure Wade sticks with Georgia then that is what has to happen.
Bobo gives Georgia a chance to keep winning championships right now, and when Wade finally arrives in Athens in two years their chance to win a national title will increase even more.
